Use Of Trademarks On Merchant's Website
Merchants must follow these guidelines when using myPOS and related trademarks on their website:
1. General Requirements
- The myPOS logo and all myPOS Checkout API logos must not be altered, modified, or changed in any way without prior written permission from myPOS.
- Logos may not be used in a manner that refers disparagingly to myPOS or the myPOS Checkout service.
- The myPOS Checkout payment option must be displayed alongside all other payment methods, and presented equally.
- Card scheme logos (VISA, MasterCard, JCB) may not be used separately from the myPOS logo, unless the merchant has a direct agreement with the card scheme.
- Merchants must comply with any myPOS-provided text descriptions of the myPOS Checkout service before publishing them online.
- Merchants may use any logo available on the mypos.com website. For custom sizes or solutions, contact myPOS Customer Service.
2. Payment Method Page
If the merchant has a separate payment method page, the myPOS Checkout service must be described in compliance with the General Requirements above.
3. Checkout Page
The myPOS Checkout payment method must be presented on the checkout page, following the General Requirements.
4. Redirecting Page
If there is a redirecting page between the merchant’s checkout and the myPOS Checkout payment page, the following must be included:
- "Payments processed by mypos.com" or the myPOS logo
Example:
- Please wait, you are now being redirected to https://www.mypos.com/vmp/
- You are about to pay via secure payments processed by myPOS Europe Ltd. using a debit or credit card.
- If you are not redirected within 5 seconds, please click here.
The Verified by VISA, MasterCard SecureCode, and J/Secure logos may be placed separately, in accordance with the requirements of the card scheme.
