Application Upload – Step-by-Step Guide

Use this guide to successfully submit and publish your Android application on the myPOS AppMarket.

Step 1: Log In

Log in to your myPOS AppMarket account.

Step 2: Add a New App

1. Click on "Add New App" from the dashboard menu.
2. The mobile application submission form will open.

Step 3: Fill Out the Submission Form

Application Name Enter a unique name for your app.

Release Type Choose Official release from the drop-down menu.

Upload APK File

1. Click Browse and select your .apk file.
2. Once uploaded, the system will auto-fill the following fields from your APK’s manifest:
   • Application Version
   • Version Code
   • Package Name
   • Android Version Dependency
   • Permissions

⚙️ Ensure your project structure and APK settings are correctly configured.

myPOS OS Version Select the minimum myPOS OS version your app depends on.

Short Description Write a brief summary (max 80 characters) of your app.

Long Description Provide a detailed description (max 4000 characters).
You can use the HTML editor to format the content.

Upload Screenshots

• Minimum: 2 | Maximum: 8
• Formats: .jpg, .png
• Image width: 320px to 3840px
• Recommended: Use images that match device screen dimensions.

Upload Banner

• Required dimensions: 720 x 400 px
• Formats: .jpg, .png

Upload App Icon

• Required dimensions: 512 x 512 px
• Format: .png with transparency enabled

Publish to App Market Select:

• Yes to publish now
• No to delay publication

Device Model Choose the target device(s):

• Smart
• Smart N5
• Hub
• Hub+
• Kiosk

Application Category Select the most appropriate category for your app.

Available in Countries Choose where your app will be available geographically.

Privacy Policy Provide a link to your privacy policy.

Step 4: Submit

Click Submit to finish the submission.

If the upload is successful, your app will be submitted for automated and manual review.

Adding Versions for Multiple Devices

You can upload different APKs for different device models.

How to:

1. Go to your app’s description page

2. Click Add New Version

3. In the Device Model dropdown, choose a different device (e.g., Smart N5, Hub)

4. Upload a separate APK for that device if needed

🔁 You can replace the APK for a model at any time by selecting the appropriate device and uploading a new file.
