myPOS + HotelRunner: Easy Integration Guide
Welcome! This guide will help you quickly connect your myPOS account to your HotelRunner Booking Engine so you can start accepting online payments for hotel reservations.
What You'll Do
- Create a myPOS Checkout Store for your hotel.
- Generate 5 required parameters for HotelRunner.
- Enter these parameters into your HotelRunner account.
What You Need for HotelRunner
You'll need to collect these 5 items from myPOS:
- Private Key
- Public Certificate
- Key Index
- Store ID
- Client Number
Step-by-Step: Connect myPOS to HotelRunner
1. Create a New Checkout Store
- Log in to your myPOS account.
- Go to Stores.
- Click Create Store and follow the instructions.
2. Choose Integration Method
During store creation, select myPOS Checkout API as your integration method.
3. Set Up Currencies
Important: Make sure the currency you select matches your HotelRunner reservation currency.
- Accept bookings in EUR? Enable EUR.
- Want to accept BGN, GBP, or others? Create accounts for each currency.
You can change currencies later: Stores > eCommerce > [Your Checkout] > Settings > Transaction currencies
4. Generate Your Keys
- Go to the Integration tab.
- Click to generate your key pair.
- Save your Private Key somewhere safe (you'll only see it once!).
- Download your Public Certificate (you can re-download this later).
Lost your Private Key? You'll need to generate a new key pair.
5. Find the Key Index
In the Integration tab, look for the Key Index (bottom left of the screen). This number identifies your key pair.
You'll need to give this Key Index to HotelRunner.
6. Get Your Store ID and Client Number

- Find this in the general information section of your Checkout.

Client Number:
- Find this under Company Information (top-right corner of your myPOS account).

Add Details to HotelRunner
Once you have all 5 parameters:
- Log in to your HotelRunner account.
- Go to Payment Settings > myPOS.
- Enter each parameter in the correct field.
HotelRunner will start using myPOS for payments as soon as you fill in all fields correctly.
myPOS Store Verification
- After setup, myPOS will review your Checkout.
- This can take up to 5 business days.
- You may be asked for extra documents.
- Any changes to your setup will require re-verification.
Once approved, myPOS Checkout will show up as a payment option in your HotelRunner booking module.

Your request URLs must look like this:
