Testing Your PayButtons & PayLinks

Before sharing with customers, let's make sure everything works perfectly!

1️. Quick Test (Free!)

  1. Click your PayButton or PayLink
  2. Verify the checkout page loads with correct details
  3. Close the page — no payment needed

If you see the checkout page with correct details, you're good to go!

2️. Full Payment Test

Want to test the complete flow? Use a small amount (€0.05) and your real card:

  1. Create a test payment with a small amount
  2. Complete the payment
  3. Verify you receive email notification
  4. Check transaction appears in Stores → Transactions

Pro Tip: Test with €0.05 or £0.05 to keep costs minimal!

3️. Troubleshooting

Button doesn't work?

  • Copy the complete HTML code without modifications

No email notification?

  • Check spam folder
  • Verify email settings in your account

Link expired?

  • Create a new link or remove expiration date

4️. Ready to Go Live?

  1. Update to your actual price
  2. Remove "TEST" from product name
  3. Share with customers!
